All leadership is personal. We just happen to do it in professional settings sometimes.

Often, we talk about alignment within our organizations; however, we don’t talk about alignment in our personal lives nearly enough. For that matter, we don’t spend enough time getting clear on the connection between the two.

When we set goals, it’s important that we act on our goals and orient our behaviors and routines in ways that don’t undermine the goals we’ve set. This also applies to thinking about our professional commitments: do you know how frustrating is it to build your livelihood on a career that undermines your personal goals and passions?
