Does that Goal REALLY Matter to You?
Focus is about remembering your why and setting goals that are truly compelling. When you set a goal that you aren’t really committed to, it’s easy to look up one day and see that it’s been a year since you’ve worked on…that book, that diet, that resume, that travel plan, or whatever that thing was that you said was so important…that you FORGOT about. If it’s truly a goal, how do you forget it? It’s like when I agree to fast and find myself eating breakfast: it’s because I didn’t really want to fast in the first place (Seriously, I never want to fast. I even told God that I was going to stop committing to it, even when my church is engaged in a corporate fast).
